Seymour Green has made recycling fun, attractive, and most importantly available!

Recycling facilities for the public are scarce in Cities and we have designed the world’s first mobile marketing solution to providing this service, including the further transportation of the waste to a recycling facility using electric vehicles.

Our existing family of 'Hedgehogs' has the capacity to recycle 7.2 million cans and 4.3 million bottles a year. We aim to have 100 'Hedgehogs' across the UK by 2011 with the capacity to recycle 115 million cans and bottles per annum.

The connection between the electric vans, the advertising, the Bluetooth and the recycling all correlates into a simple, positive and sustainable message:

• Recycling is one of the greatest ways people can contribute to the environment.

On a daily basis, we anticipate more than 100,000 people will interact with our vans in one way or another and naturally a large percentage will use them to recycle. We only need 2% to contribute in order to hit our recycling targets.

Once the 'Hedgehogs' are full they are taken to recycling stations or MRF’s (Materials Recovery Facility) to ensure all waste collected by Seymour Green is properly recycled.

Seymour Green also provides recycling services for businesses.
